New Orleans

Today, after two days off chilling, we played the house of blues in new orleans with the Nat and Alex Wolff Summer Road Trip Tour. The show was incredible. The energy from the audience was amazing...there is something special about this city. Last time we were here, some girls threw bras onstage...for a kids show!

Im sitting here in the back of the bus with Nat, talking over the show. Its amazing how quickly and energetically these guys learn music. Im so jealous of their learning curve!

Its never easy to practice on the road, but it gives a wonderful feeling of being in motion. Its not the most productive practicing, but I always find I write well when Im traveling. Im working on material for a new record that will be recorded in the fall after this tour. MUCH more on that later. For Nat and Alex fans, we're off to California now for a few days, then I'll have a week in New York to get my jazz back together and do some pre-production for the next record. Touring is amazing.

My new twitter (jakehertzogjazz) will be a partial jazz blog, check for jazz tips and guitar info, as I will post something every day.

stay cool cats...jazz

lol, I was there, I was at both of those New Orleans shows, right in front, for the bra thing, I was in the center front up against the stage, that was the best day...mannnn,I love you guys,PLEASE come to New Orleans again soon, I'm so impressed you guys remember your shows like that!

P.S. Why don't Nat and Alex play Little Old Nita anymore? That's my favorite!...other than you guys doing a cover of "Hard Day's Night"
